Generally, for RPG Maker Games such as these, the controls are [Enter] to make & confirm choices on menus, and perform actions such as checking chests, barrels, and talking to people you approach in towns and other places.  [Esc] is to access the game menu and leave the game menu, and also acts as the cancel button.  The [Arrow Keys] are used to navigate menus and for player movement.  Some games may have other controls which are explained in game, so pay attention to any in-game explanations.  It may also be possible to map a controller to these keyboard commands, but if so, that is also beyond the expertise of this webmaster.
